Gen Con Fundraising Continues

Behind the ScenesThe Dead Gents are revving up for the con. Movies, games, the undead, magazines, chain mail, and gamers galore. Who wouldn’t want to be there?! That’s why we’re still seeking your help……

The movie is done shooting and the cast wants to share their experience and talk with you at GenCon Indy. There’s only one problem with this: Dead Gentlemen doesn’t have the funds to take ‘em. That’s why we need your help.

We are having an online donation drive to try to get the cast to GenCon Indy so that they can meet all their loyal fans and talk to you about the film in person. Please take some time to read more about our fundraiser.

SPOILERS DELETED encore

It was towards the end of a long day at the castle location down in the bowels of South Pierce County.

They’d just finished filming a scene that involved a spoiler deleted and an spoiler deleted, when Christian (Luster) picked up a head of lettuce and threw it into the air. Carol (Joanna), who’s character Daphne fights danger with a spear, did a half turn before dropping to one knee and expertly lancing the vegetable right through the middle. She held it up so that everyone could see.

Suddenly there was frenzy in the air. The other members of the cast picked up more produce and lofted them towards Carol. In less than ninety seconds she’d gored to death three heads of lettuce and assorted other vegetables.

You have to admire skill like that. Many a good man would have panicked and dropped the spear. Vegetables are no less fearsome than a charging Grizzly Bear –you should never go against one with anything less than a .44. But
in a world that has the Kalashnikov, the Bren Gun, and the board with a nail in it, Carol held the line and took down the lettuce with nothing more than a steely gaze and a pointed stick.
